Description
Apple Pencil 2nd Generation is designed for iPads that support magnetic attachment and wireless charging.
It pairs automatically when attached to the side of compatible iPad models and charges without cables.
This version supports pressure sensitivity, tilt functionality and double-tap gesture switching between tools.
It is commonly used for note taking, drawing, markup and document annotation in iPadOS.
Compatibility is hardware-specific. Apple Pencil 2 does not work with iPads that use Lightning charging or first-generation Pencil support.
Before purchasing, confirm your iPad model supports magnetic side charging.
The Pencil attaches magnetically to the side of supported iPads for pairing, storage and charging.
It does not include a Lightning connector and cannot be charged using cables.
