This is an original used (pulled-out) Retina display assembly designed for the MacBook Air 13-inch 2020 model A2179 (Intel). It includes the complete top lid unit with LCD panel, LED backlight, front glass, camera, and aluminum housing.

The A2179 model features a 13.3-inch Retina IPS display with a native resolution of 2560×1600. Apple uses a laminated display structure in this model, meaning the LCD, backlight, and glass are fused together, so full assembly replacement is required for any screen damage.

This replacement is typically used when the display is cracked, showing lines, flickering, or has backlight issues. As an original pulled unit, it ensures proper hinge alignment, correct cable connection, and consistent visual output matching factory specifications.
