This is an original used (pulled-out) Retina display assembly designed for the MacBook Pro 15-inch Retina models (A1398) from Mid 2014 through Mid 2015. It is a complete top lid unit that includes the LCD panel, LED backlight, front glass, and integrated camera — ready for direct replacement.
The MacBook Pro 15″ A1398 uses a high-resolution 2880×1800 Retina IPS display. Mid 2014, Late 2014, and Mid 2015 A1398 Retina display assemblies share the same design and are interchangeable.
Mid 2012 through Late 2013 A1398 uses a different display revision and is not compatible with this assembly.
